reactjsday: the new reference point on the React world

Last week saw the ninth edition of reactjsday, the only conference in Italy entirely dedicated to React. It was a day with an international flavor, with 10 speakers and nearly 400 participants (in attendance and online) from all over the world. reactjsday confirmed once again this year as one of the industry benchmarks in Italy and Europe.

Two workshops to expand your skills

The day leading up to the conference featured two intensive workshops conducted in collaboration with Apropos, a company that produces GrUSP events and selects faculty from top conferences to do in-house training.

Server Components, useReducer, react.dev and react inline visual editing

reactjsday opened with a keynote by Tejas Kumar, a super star in the industry: in 2023 alone he has participated in 31 conferences and events! His keynote was focused on Server Components.

Over the course of the morning, Silvia Florio and Mattia Pispisa took turns on stage with a talk focused on useReducer, Rachel Nabors who told us about the evolution of react.dev, and Matteo Frana, who focused on a visual editing tool.

Let’s have fun, QwikReact, Observability & GraphQL

After the lunch break and the considerable space left for networking typical of our conferences, we returned to the room with Fabio Biondi who organized an “interactive” talk (with good improvisation!) that found great interest in the audience.

Ruby Jane Cabagnot talked to us about Qwik and QwikReact, Gonzalo Beviglia focused on the concept of “Observability” and OpenTelemetry, Edoardo Dusi explored and analyzed, what it means to make the same application with React and other JavaScript frameworks. Finally, Paolo Insogna took the stage and talked about GraphQL.
